The letter"L" and the letters S and K and paint and mess, but not as much as earlier, had to clear a space to work on. The letter is about 8" tall and is covered with papers in a patchwork fashion and then all of the edges were done with tattered rose crackle paint.
If you are wondering why I have a photo of my desk here, pop over to Julia's blog where she will tell you all about it.

  1. Those letters sound like fun projects, do we get to see the finished results?? I do hope so as they sound lovely :)
    Have a great WOYWW,
    Karen #73

  2. What a big project! I wonder what is the word you create?

  3. Love it! Are we doing out initials?

  4. L S K is it some kind of morse code? Do tell us more. Hugs Mrs A. #57

  5. I'm having a really busy week but am quickly dropping by to make sure all our WOYWW friends get the chance to win the last of our weekly draws before the BIG one over in our blog shop. Pop over and join in the fun. Good luck.
    A x

  6. Cute start! I bought our initials to make for wall hanging but haven't gotten around to it yet! Really cute teapot sitting in the window. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #52

  7. Huge! The L looks lovely already - you're using some papers that I actually bought used and finished because I liked them so much. LOVE the house in the background!

  8. Wow! So much to look at on your desk- I like the idea of Initials- saving that Idea for later, :) Shaz #148
