Art Journalling for Beginners

So Saturday saw the first Art Journalling for Beginners class in Ballinameela School, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. What a fantastic day it was too! The inimitable Midi Walshe invited me to teach the class and we had 10 lovely peeps on the day. As you can see from the photo above the table was groaning with wonderful home baking and as many art supplies as could fit into the car. No-one had ever done any journalling before and so there was a bit of nervousness around the concept. But I am happy to report that by the end of the day everyone had at least 3 pages done and many more backgrounds laid down.

As you can see we got lots done and had a great fun day. Our next session will be in early November, details to follow.

  1. Was a fabulous day - learned lots of new techniques - when we arrived we thought we would never be able to create these lovely images - but we all came away with some lovely work - great day overall, looking forward to the next one. Catherine x
