The Wishing House

This is my "Wishing House"
I got the template from a website and finally got around to making it over the last couple of days. That's the beauty of being snowed in, you can craft away without feeling like you should be out somewhere doing something else.

This is a close-up of the eaves and roof tiles. I used the 'Bloom and Grow' papers from My Minds Eye. They were perfect for this project. I doodled around the opening and added a rub-on around the doodle.

This is the side of the house.

This is the back.

This is a close up of the roof tiles. They are individual hearts layered up.
The site that I got the template from was mjm-thearttart.com.

  1. Oh I love this little house. It is very pretty. I once covered the roof of a little bird house with pinecone pedals. I cut all of those little knobbies off of pinecones and gflued them down, one by one. I should have used your idea instead. Mayve my fingers would not have hurt so much... :)
Your blog is nice, thanks for stoppy by. I think you were my first Ireland visitor. Neat!!
